A Muddy Memorable Music Fest
My article called A Muddy Memorable Music Festival debuts today on GoNomad.com as does a video I shot/narrated and edited. Take a few moments to watch and if you have any questions, email me anytime. Beyond the Rainforest Music Festival is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multilingual society that deserves a visit someday.

Oh, does this look like fun! And I love the elephants!
I'm also sure it was a lot more fun than it would have been otherwise had there been no Heineken and no language spoken you could communicate with.
It seems to me the world is really in transition right now, between a time where fundamentalists of all religious stripes ruled in narrow, isolated worlds and a time where an increasing percentage of world citizens is interconnected.
The emerging generation wants to embrace other cultures and shuns backwards-thinking fundis, whether Christian, Moslem, Hindu, Orthodox Jewish or otherwise. It does not reject the basic good ideas of these faiths, only the narrow-mindedness.
The time of fundamentalism is past. Long like internationalism!
The fundis everywhere are losing the war and they don't like it but I feel they will continue to lose.
The peaceful internationalism of a wonderful world-interconnected festival like that shows that it can and, I say, will happen.
